Oh, indeed it is Yamada (I googled it xD), I saw some of his fantasy artbooks for selling and the art is very nice. Most of them are Art Nouveau inspired rather than classic painting, though.

Oh yes she does xD I'm even surprised Minitokyo doesn't have much of her non-Castlevania works.

Those Advent Children scans were awesome. Just saw the movie and been looking for some nice high res widescreen background images, and those definately did the trick! Thanks for sharing.
